May 2018, from Connie: "My girlfriend and I stayed in the Russian Suite for Jazzfest and the B & B worked perfectly for us. We had two beds and room to move around. The "kitchenette" area was a bonus too. Betsy is a wonderful host and it was so nice to have breakfast put out for us. The location is within walking distance of Frenchman and the French Quarter. I give it a "thumbs up!"
April 2018, from Nancy: "Chez Palmiers turned out to be everything we could have wanted for the wedding celebration of our travel friends from Michigan. Betsy graciously accommodated our late'ish arrival and her New Orleans hospitality didn't end until we left for the airport to return home. The house came with two adorable canines, Marge and Mabel, They greeted us cheerfully each morning and watched us eat breakfast. Betsy always had a savory treat, such as cherry strudel, veggie muffins, or croissants in addition to fresh fruit, yogurt and cereal. She had wonderful suggestions for food and beverages in the area and we could walk everywhere from the house in just a few minutes. One morning, we were able to chat with a group of geographers from Paris who were attending a conference in the city. The pool was lovely but the weather didn't really offer a chance to enjoy it - next time for sure. Betsy was very responsive ahead of time to my questions and thoroughly delightful in person."
March 2018, from John: "Betsy, I can't thank you enough for making our vacation so much fun. It was perfect in every way. All 3 suites were wonderful and the location was great. The street parking was easy but we walked to almost every thing. Your recommendations were very helpful and we still have plenty of places to checkout when we come back. Having the 3 different suites for the 3 couples meant we could have time to our selves but the back yard with the pool also gave us time together. We all enjoyed playing with the puppies. The home baked treats you made for breakfast every day were incredible. But best of all, you and Bill and Marge and Mabel made us feel at home. Thanks for everything !"
September 2017, from Danielle: "It starts with a personal email from Betsy, which I enjoyed communicating with the real person.. A bright welcoming smile from her as well and all her hard work with a prefect set up...a truly special welcome from the girls Peggy and marge! Love the pups of the house .. can not forget bill her husband that is just like a father checking to make sure you need anything and offering a story anytime.. could have talked all day..location is perfect to anywhere you want from Bourbon Street, St Roch Market to the Quarter - this is a charming, safe and welcoming quiet home.. pool and patio wonderful to enjoy anytime and your rooms are more than you need. We wandered in and out of the B&B and the rooms at all times of morning and night and it was a pleasure to occasionally see Betsy, Bill or the girls to check in on us at times, but in no way invading of our trip for those who are wondering about privacy. We enjoyed the thoughts, advice, stories and them asking what we did or had plans for. If I ever return I would not look anywhere else except here. Thank you truly for having us and letting us enjoy our own private piece of NOLA for our girls weekend!"
June 2017, from Amy: "Our very first experience staying at a bed and breakfast and it was wonderful. Betsy and Bill were perfect hosts and very understanding when our flight was delayed by several hours and we arrived late. Would recommend them to anyone. Very close walking distance to French Quarter and the trolley. Best New Orleans authentic food at a deli across the street. Their home is beautifully furnished and bed very comfortable. Contact them! You won't be disappointed!"
May 2017, from Lacey: "First time staying at a B&B and we loved it. It has a very historic feel and is nicely decorated. Short walking distance to French quarter or a $6-$7 Uber ride. Very quiet and room was very spacious. Betsy, Bill, Marge, and Peggy were all super friendly and felt just like family. Very welcoming and genuinely nice people. Would highly recommend staying if you want out of all the noise and hustle and bustle that the French quarter has, yet close enough to be in all of the fun. Would stay again for sure our next visit!"
April 2017, from Ashley: "This was our first B&B to ever stay at and the place was beautiful and the owners were great!! Its not everyday you see that kind of hospitality:) It was wonderful!! :) and not to far from Bourbon Street and all the action! We will definitely stay here again!"
