ABOUT CHEZ PALMIERS

Chez Palmiers is a New Orleans bed and breakfast in the beautiful Marigny neighborhood of the city, just a few minutes' walk from the historic French Quarter.
We have three lovely spacious rooms, each with a private bathroom. Guests may gather in the dining room, deck and pool. Host Betsy, along with my canine counterpart Mabel, are delighted to share our home, company and wagging tail with guests. TRANSPORTATION
Our location is perfect for walking around downtown, and the French Quarter, Marigny, Bywater and Treme neighborhoods are all within a very easy and pleasant couple of minutes' walk.

FROM THE AIRPORT
SHUTTLE
The Airport shuttle companies generally only provide transportation to large hotel destinations in the French Quarter or the downtown business district.
TAXI / RIDE SHARE OPTIONS
A cab ride costs $36, flat rate from the airport to the Marigny, the Central Business District (CBD) and French Quarter for one or two persons and $14.00 (per passenger) for three or more passengers. Pick-up is on the lower level, outside the baggage claim area. There may be an additional charge for extra baggage. You can use your Uber and Lyft apps from the airport - look for signs at Arrivals to the pick up location in the transportation hub across from the terminal.
BUS
The Airport-Downtown Express (E-2) Bus picks up outside airport Entrance #7 on the upper level. The fare for Airport-Downtown Express (E-2) is $2.00. The fare boxes will accept $1, $5, $10, $20 dollar bills and all U.S. coins. The Airport-Downtown Express (E-2) provides service from the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport in Kenner, down Airline Drive into New Orleans, which takes approximately 35 minutes.
